EASY GUIDE TO BECOME BILINGUAL FAST!

Hi Everybody! I hope you are having a beautiful day :) So you wish to add a new language to your collection? Let's chat about it and get encouraged in this post !

Learning a new language might sound intimidating at first, especially with all the grammar and vocabular rules of the language that might be required... Buuut if it is really something that you want, it can get easy and practical and encouraging:)

In this articles, I would like to give out some little hacks that will help you become bilingual without it feeling like a lengthy core.

Learning a new language fast starts with really wanting to hear and understand the language when spoken. Hence, listening is key. Faith is helpful because you are basically using the language that you already have as a base to hear another language. That's translation.

Asking random word's  translation in the language that you desire to learn might help you cram some few words here and there but what will make you hear the language is

first, the listening of a story that you already know and like, but this time, in the desired language.    From a subtitled movie that you have already seen in the language that you already know

or, from a book you have already read several times out of likes. The fact that you know the story already, will help develop your intuitive translator. A pocket dictionnary might help too during this practice.

Another way is by living with someone who can only communicate with you via the language that you are trying to learn.
Some people move to a country or place, where the official language spoken is the language that they desire to learn, for a set period of time for example.
Once the learner start to get comfortable at listening, they can try putting what they hear on paper to start practicing with writting.
Learning the alphabet when it is completely different from the native language's, should be one of the 1rst steps in writing and reading. knowing the alphabet and how to write every letter is a fun learning process and gives a really strong base and boost to the learner 😉

The writing part gets even easier when the learner is learning a language with the same alphabet as their original language's alphabet. French and English for example, have the same alphabet.
Here is a really encouraging fact : Once you can hear, you can write. Maybe with alot of mistakes, but really nothing that  can't be fixed hehe
And at that point, the person reading you will have a clue of what you are trying to say to them and that's communication 😃
And just like that. You became bilingual! 😎
Happy learning xo
